Design systems are an amazing tool for designers and developers. They provide a shared design reference and guidelines that make a system more predictable, easier to understand and implement, and help maintain a more cohesive experience throughout many products that use them.

For some reason I find state-made design systems very interesting. One particular reason might be that these systems work very hard towards complying with accessibility standards, making them very “explicit”, high-contrast and overall very inclusive. Still, I think they have a personality of their own.
